Aims & Scope
The journal welcomes original contributions reporting new developments in automotive and mechanical engineering.
Research articles, reviews, and technical notes are accepted from both theoretical and experimental studies.
AMM covers a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:
- Automotive Engineering: Engine and emission technologies, automobile body and safety, vehicle dynamics, automotive electronics, fuels and lubricants, combustion and reacting flows, automotive electrical systems, automotive transmission, intelligent vehicles and transportation systems, vehicle maintenance, and automotive pollution control.
- Energy and Sustainability: Alternative energy, energy conversion, fuel cells, hybrid and electric vehicles, new and renewable energy technologies, solar energy, and power plant engineering.
- Mechanical and Thermal Sciences: Heat and mass transfer, fluid mechanics and dynamics, thermal-fluids machinery, HVAC, thermodynamics, tribology, and failure analysis.
- Materials and Manufacturing: Automotive materials, metallurgy, materials processing, composite and polymer materials, powder metallurgy and metal ceramics, and engineering materials.
- Design, Simulation, and Control: CAE/FEA/CAD/CFD, modeling and simulation, applied mechanics, structural analysis, non-linear analysis, machine component design, discrete systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and mechatronics.
